On Saturday, June 27th - we distributed in the swimmer mailboxes the event selection form for the upcoming CASL Division 3-A Championship meet to be held on Saturday, July 18th at the Cumberland Valley High School pool.  If your swimmer attends practice this week, s/he will find a card in their mailbox to be completed and returned to the coaches no later than July 9, 2009.  Each swimmer is free to choose the event(s) they would like to swim at the Division Championship meet providing they swam the event at least once during the dual meet season.  Swimmer's should list their events in the order of priority and indicate whether they would like to swim in one or more relay events.  If a swimmer chooses to swim in a relay, the lowest priority individual event that they have indicated will be dropped, providing a relay can be fully populated.  Relay events are assembled at the discretion of the coaches.  If a swimmer chooses two relay events, then their second highest priority individual event will be dropped...again, provided there are enough swimmers to put together a relay.

In order to pull the divisional meet schedule together, it is of critical importance that these forms be completed and returned to the coaches at the earliest possible date.  Those cards not returned by the deadline date of July 9th will be assumed not participating in the Divisional Championship meet.

If your child will be at practice this week (and we hope that they will be), please remind them to check their mail box to retrieve their event card.
